The 4th Mallow Masters Short Course gala will be held on Sunday 1st December at the Mallow Swimming Complex. Closing date for entires is Monday 26th of November.

Celtic Masters Gala 2012 - Results!

Congratulations to everyone who particpated in the first Celtic Masters Long course Gala on Saturday. A big thank you to everyone who swam for their clubs making the event a great sucess.

Aer Lingus / NAC Masters Training

In the lead up the Celtic Masters Gala on the 20th of October, Aer Lingus will be putting on an extra training session in the National Aquatic Centre every Friday night from the 21st of September. Times and dates are as follows:

Friday   28th Sept

Friday    5th Oct

Friday   12th Oct

Time  : 19.30  -  20.30pm

Fee: €5

1st Celtic Open Masters LONG COURSE Gala 2012

1st CELTIC OPEN MASTERS LONG COURSE MEET will be held in the National Aquatic Centre (NAC), Dublin on Saturday 20th October 2012.

Entries are now being taken. Closing date for all entries is the 1st of October.

News from the Worlds

A Team of 16 Swimmers from Aer Lingus Masters SC went to the World Masters in Riccione in June .

Everyone swam very well even Peter Conway in the 50 fly which he swam at 10.30pm under floodlights.

Special congratulations to:

• Dymphna Morris who came 2nd in 800 Free and 400 Free and 3rd in 200Free. She was placed 4th in 200 IM and 10th in the 200 Backstroke.
• Suzanne Harkins came 7th in the 400 Free and 9th in the 200 Fly.

Dymphna , Suzanne and Jeff broke Irish Records in their individual events.

4 Relays broke Irish Records:

• The Womens 200yrs + 4x50 FTR came 6th and 4x50 MTR came 8th  -- Dymphna Morris, Marie Guidon, Patricia Reilly and Ann Cummins.
• Mixed 200 yrs + 4x50 MTR  - Dymphna Morris, Patricia Reilly, Dermot Canavan and Peter Conway .
• Mixed 240 yrs + 4x50 FTR  -  Mary Fitzpatrick, Marie Guidon, Jeff Philips and Tony O'Brien.
