 Training continues as normal over the holidays in ALSAA with the exception of Saturday 21st, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Derry Masters Gala - January 2014

The Derry SC Masters gala will be held on Saturday the 25th of January at the City Baths, William st., Derry.
The gala will follow the same format as previous years but the dinner/dance will take place at a new venue this year: The Tower Hotel.

5th Mallow Masters Short Course Gala

The 5th Mallow Masters Gala will take place on Saturday the 7th of December in theMaollow Swimming Complex, Mallow, Co. Cork.

2 new events have been added to the programme: a 200m IM and 400m IM which will be restricted to 1 heat of each on a first to apply first to be entered basis.
The 200m IM will be the last individual event in the afternoon.
The 400m IM the last individual event in the morning.

Warm up Commences @9am

*To facilitate all swimmers having as productive warm-up as possible we will split the hour into 2 halves with swimmers from the Munster area utilising the first half i.e. 09.00am to 09.30am and all other swimmers from 09.30am to 10.00am.

Best of luck to everyone who is making the trek to Eindhoven to swim in the European Masters.

Today is Day 2 of the event and already we've heard that Dymphna Morris got a silver in the 800 free at the Europeans yesterday, just missing out on an Irish record by less than half a second.
