Masters Triathletes and Beginners Classes

Wednesday Nights 8 - 9 pm - Masters and Triathletes Training Session.

Starts 3rd Feb

Masters / triathletes lane swimming with two coaches on the bank. Not suitable for absolute beginners, but ideal for those wishing to improve their stroke technique, distance and stamina in the water. Ideal for Triathletes looking to improve the swim section of their race.
10 weeks = €70

Thursday Nights 9 - 10 pm - Adult Beginner Classes

Starts 4th Feb

This ten week session is on from 9-10 pm every Thursday night. This is an opportunity for all level of swimmers from complete beginners to those who want to improve their technique or learn a new stroke. See our adult swimming lessons page for more details.

New Year NAC Training & Gala Season

A very Happy New Year to everyone! 

Just a reminder that we are back training in the NAC on Fridays on the following dates.

Also a note on upcoming galas: 

Derry: 30th Jan

Limerick: 5th March

Palma: 2nd & 3rd of April

Europeans London: 25-29th May

If you are interested in competing in any of the above please inform Mary ASAP so that you may be considered for relays.. 

Christmas Fun Swim

On Saturday 12th Dec we are having a pre-Christmas Swim in the ALSAA pool from 8am - 11am. The swim, which will feature relay races, will include young and old; all levels from the Aer Lingus Swimming Club and the Aer Lingus Masters Swimming Club. 

If you would like to participate, please inform Mary by 1st Dec.

The club is also considering going to a Gala in Palma on the 2nd and 3rd April 2016 (flying out on wed 30th Mar and returning 3rd /4th April ) If you are interested please Mary know asap. 

We have no price on hotels or flights yet as we have to see how many are going.

NAC Training

The 50m Friday sessions in the NAC that some of you signed up for, for the last four weeks have been extended into the next two weeks. Training will take place this Friday 6th of November and the following Friday the 13th (lucky for some) of November.

You can pay €10 for the two sessions this Friday, and if you want to pay as you go it will be €8 per session.

The Friday sessions will start up again in January, in the lead up to the Europeans, and will take place on the following dates:

JAN: 8th, 15th, 22nd

FEB: 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th

MAR:

11th, 25th

APR: 1st, 8th, 15th

MAY: 6th, 13th, 20th.
The cost for these sessions will be €6 as you go.

Gala Season!

Gala Season is fast approaching. First up is the Dublin Sprint Gala taking place on Sunday 27th September in Tallaght Community Pool. This is an afternoon event. Warm up at 3 pm, Gala at 3:30 pm.

Then there is the Celtic Masters Irish Open taking place at the NAC on Saturday 17th October. This gala offers a full program of events. This is a day long event with warm up for the morning session at 9:00 am and Gala Start at 9:45am.

Splash for Syria

There will be a charity 'splash and dash' to raise funds for the Search and Rescue boats that operate in the Mediterranean Sea.  If you can wear a little something red on the day as a symbol of your support please do. No worries if you don't have any red stuff! There will be a minutes silence at 12 noon. 

Location:: Low Rock Malahide, 

When: This Saturday 12th September from 11 - 1am.
