Summer Training in the NAC

Extra training sessions in the NAC will run on Friday nights throughout the Summer. Beginning Friday 3rd May, coached by Gerry Foley, these sessions are a great opportunity to train in a 50 meter format. Not to mention excellent practice for the Aer Lingus gala on Sunday 12th May.
Dates are as follows.

May: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
June: 7th, 21st, 28th
July: 5th, 12th, 26th
Aug:  2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd.

Time: Friday nights 19.30 - 20.30   

Cost: €5

Adult Beginner Classes - New Season

The new season of adult beginner classes starts Thursday 18th April from 9pm - 10pm at the ALSAA 25 meter swimming pool.
This is the perfect opportunity for those who have always wanted to learn to swim. The classes are divided up into three sections: beginner, intermediate and advanced.  These relaxed classes cater for all abilities from complete beginners to those who wish to improve their technique in the water.  Taught and supervised by three fully qualified swim coaches, these classes are friendly and informal as well as great way to meet new people.

Masters Development Squad

There has been one significant change in the qualification criteria for the Development Squad. Swims published in the most recent two LEN Top 10 swim lists will be considered for inclusion. This means that for the 2013-2014 squad the relevant lists are for 2011 and 2012 ONLY. The reasons for this change are:

1. To make allowance for swimmers who are in the upper end of any age group;

2. To make allowance for swimmers unfortunate enough to have a long term injury;

Easter Training Times

There will be training Easter Monday at the earlier time of 7pm - 8pm.
Training this Holy Saturday will be at the usual time of 8:45am - 9:30am.
